This is Karlštejn Castle, built in the 14th century by King Charles IV of Bohemia, who became the Holy Roman Emperor. For a time it housed the Imperial Crown Jewels.

The castle has been beautifully preserved in a form similar to how it would have looked in the medieval period when it was built.
