I saw a meme earlier mocking the lack of interaction on Nostr. You probably know the one: a musician on a massive outdoor stage, playing his heart out to a crowd of exactly one person. The punchline is obvious: on Nostr, you’re posting to into a void of silence.

This is my response to the meme:

Nostr is a select crowd, and I’m here for it.

Fuck the YouTube grifters with their gormless thumbnails and formulaic slop. Fuck the X know-it-alls and their perpetual psychobabble. Fuck the LinkedIn suits and their thin veneer of "likeability." These people are addicts, terrified to leave the centralized platforms that own them.

Nostr might not offer the same "bang for your buck" in clicks, but it offers something better: sovereignty. Here, you own your identity. You connect with people who value freedom and have the spine to laugh at the majority -the ones who surrendered to algorithms that pull their strings like malevolent puppet masters.

We’ve never seen a world so divided or anxious, and it’s largely due to the "walled garden" addiction. Mainstream social media manipulates human emotion, using fear and outrage to sell ads while society commits suicide one click at a time.

Nostr is the salvation. It’s for those who have ditched the dopamine pipe for a future that is ethically right and psychologically necessary. If you value real human connection, this is the way forward.

My hope? More people join us "Nostr-heads" and flee the spirit-crushing inferno of mainstream media before the chaos is total.

PS: Happy Saturday. I’m off for a run. PPS: Day 8 off the beer
