In a power vacuum, everyone's on even terms until the one monolithic entity comes in to save "everyone". But selectively, on their terms.

The wholistic approach, if one cares to cultivate a space while being recognized for it is to sow the seeds freely, or at the least with an open sort of selection. You enable the space to grow, but it's never your single vision acting on it, which is the trade off.

Investment in identity and aligned vision brings a fragility, vs investment to culture a space and letting it grow how it sees best is robust.
