You may be right. When I went back to Twitter (pre-nostr) it was explicitly to immerse myself in Bitcoin Twitter, and I loved it for a long while and struggle to understand what's so offputting about it. My lurker account is still effectively a BTC Twitter feed, and I'm not sure I'd be able to escape it even if I tried since most of the personalities I want to follow are bitcoiners. However, and maybe this is defensiveness, when someone leaves and blames Bitcoin content, I don't fully believe them, and it sounds more like lashing out at a vague imagined cohort for attention. The userbase is small, even for Bitcoin content, and enough of the BTC people aren't posting about BTC THAT much (I say, after posting a terrible AI slop Saylor meme just minutes ago). You're prob more right than I care to admit :(
