The swale we made early in February (in the note below) is so over grown with the plants we seeded for erosion-control and nitrogen-fixing that strawberries were suffering. An afternoon of pulling grasses and beans took care of that. The plants that were pulled out will be placed back as mulch after they've had some time to dry out.
