It’s not semantics tho. You sell a product for a price, where payment is sent and product is delivered. V4V content is posted without requiring a payment, with the understanding that some people who consume it will do so without providing any value in return, but also with the expectation that some of those who do get something out of it will return something of value to you. Money is the most potent way for them to do that, but it can be other things. This doesn’t mean selling a product for a price is bad/wrong, but they’re just two distinct ways of doing business. I could try to sell memes with a paywall, or subscription, but I have stuck to V4V instead.
