This BIP110 nonsense has convinced me all the more that “being a bitcoiner” is just a costume people put on. I wore it for a while, especially when I was active on Twitter. I’ve been slowly taking it off ever since joining Nostr, and watching all this BIP110 drama unfold is probably the end of “being a bitcoiner” for me. I have important things to focus my time and energy on, and as for money, bitcoin continues to work just fine for me, despite what the forkers like to say.
