first if you have any chance to upgrade your 8 track for another version on bitwig's website, do it. I know they changed their restricted version scheme over the years.

some things to dive into:

  • every device (internal or third party) has modulator slots. so you can add modulation sources to anything. -the sampler device is pretty damn good , especially when you start adding modulators tobget things moving.
  • get your head around the remote control pages concept. they are not like Ableton's macros.
