This is likely going to be an increasingly common narrative.
The F-A-T-F and other organizations, as you know, Lola, are waging a war on self-holstered wallets. So any donations from a self-hosted wallet, which isn't easily identifiable, will immediately bring up a red flag on their systems.
I don't have a solution for you, unfortunately. And I feel a huge amount of sympathy... Unfortunately, this isn't limited to one jurisdiction or country. It will be worldwide soon.
You still have to interact with the fiat system to buy airplane tickets, rent vehicles, or air B&Bs. Unfortunately, Bitcoin only rails just aren't as effective.
One avenue is to pick a jurisdiction and hole up and continue your advocacy online... That's my plan B and I picked El Salvador for that. If things start getting too difficult, I'm retreating.
