I noticed something this morning which has got me questioning what I've been taught.

No biggy, but I've always been taught that ww1 was 1914 - 1918.

However, this memorial, which was put up by the colleagues of the men who lost their lives from this one company, cite 1914 - 1919.

They put this up in 1921. I'd think they'd know, wouldn't they?

For Americans, please shave two years off the beginning to understand which war it refers to.
