My kids have tablets with a data plan. They can already do everything (within apps we approve for download) except make an actual phone call. We video chat with them via Google meet when we need to talk more urgently than text. It reverts to audio only if reception is low. My oldest is about to get an actual phone but I'm tempted to just move his sim instead of upgrading the line and dramatically increasing my bill. Am I really retarded for resisting the upgrade?
