Yeah, cruise ships have always been places for disease to incubate and spread.

Bunch of people from different places trapped inside what's essentially a floating hotel, visiting places where the locals either don't have resistance to diseases / have their own diseases that those on board don't have resistance too.

There were a lot of people sick on the ship I went on.

And when we go back, customs didn't even look at the stuff I declared. So much pests and disease must get in from cruises, people bringing random seeds and shit back in, hand carved wooden stuff with beetle larvae hiding in it etc.
