Understanding wallets is my job and I still don't recommend any wallet ever publicly. In private I have to pick for friends and family but I hate it....

It's never a sentence answer. At best it is "go to a workshop" or "let's spend 5 hours together" but people don't want to accept that.

We can't give a "roll dice" or "use X" answer and walk away. So either you and they have time for the answer, or you can't help.

And even then, it's a process of "there is this risk and that risk and so on" and if by the end they are not second guessing their decision to explore bitcoin, you've probably not done your job right.
