This is similar to how I think of it. UTXO shared one of his website that lets people send fiat using Bitcoin rails. I'm starting to think I am too idealistic, too anti-fiat for normies. To grow nostr, we(at least I) need to be less idealistic.

I'm sure you know, but I find assigning an npub to each device facinating. I also think VPN's have a chance to grow nostr because companies spend money for VPN ads. There must be a demand for VPNs.
This also makes me think we could use #nostr as an IoT protocol. I think Uncle Bob Martin even mentioned this in the very early days.
I've used Home Assistant, but it's a pain in the ass. Nostr would make IoT much easier to run.
