I genuinely wish someone could make the argument for BIP110 without resorting to morality…because if immoral numbers is all it takes to destroy bitcoin, then it’s far too easy to rob humanity of the greater good that bitcoin brings.

A game theory argument like: miners reorganizing the chain to undo timely placement of valuable data for profit is as unavoidable as spam and I would argue is a far greater threat than spam. And for all we know on chain fee paying graffiti may be necessary for security if bitcoin as a financial instrument doesn’t become popular enough to fill blocks/pay for security.
