  "content": "Most of the original colonies were founded and settled by fundamentalist factions of protestant Christianity that were persecuted in England and they came here to have autonomy and structure their communities in accordance with their beliefs. All of that was taken into account by the founders and they structured the federal government to give each of these colonies maximum autonomy to continue to make local laws in accordance with their religious beliefs. That's the very foundation of State's rights. Everything in the original laws and structure of the United States government was informed by Christian belief and the intent to allow these different Christian factions autonomy. There was no consideration for religions other than Christianity and certainly not for atheism. This was a Christian government.",
