Most of my sky anomalies have been at night. Some were just unexplainable by normal happenings, and some were even playful. However, while driving past Mt. Shasta one afternoon, I saw a very large, angular, metalic shape out of my peripheral vision at the top of the driver's side window.
When I would look directly at it, it wasn't there/visible. When I would look back at the road, it was there. I consider most of the odd stories around Mt. Shasta due to a combination of imagination, expectation, and hippie drugs, but this experience had me spooked. I had the feeling of being watched, and a vibe that wasn't "friendly".

I scored a nice "bow rake" today while running errands. This is the type of rake I grew up with. When I first saw a leaf rake, it seemed so flimsy and inadequate for the job. That was even before polymer leaf rakes started showing up on shelves.
I've been wanting this for a few years now, and finally rewarded myself with one. 🤣 Soon, I'll be raking up sticks and branches to make into charcoal. 😀

Before 2008, people were telling me, "You should get a home loan. They're giving them to anybody!"
I thought I was missing some aspect that everyone else saw. I knew I wasn't making enough at the time to cover a mortgage, insurance, and taxes. Much less, the repair costs when a new roof, water heater, etc was needed. Then it all caved in, and I'm glad I didn't get roped in.
I'm seeing job ads today for middle-level positions starting at $100k-$200k per year. If someone makes that much, and doesn't blow their paycheck on doodads, it's doable. My confusion is seeing people pay that much for a sizable house instead of sizable acreage. I grew up in the woods though, and find populated areas unattractive.

The only current way to have privacy on Nostr is to use the same privacy tools that are used outside of Nostr: VPN, Tor, etc.

Some privacy oriented Firefox clones are LibreWolf (desktop) and IronFox (Android).
Instead of using the router your ISP supplies, it's easy to buy your own. That alone, prevents them from seeing some information. Sometimes that's a cheaper option too. Bonus if you install OpenWRT over the manufacturer firmware. From there, you can control a lot more of what content comes to your devices (ads, etc), in addition to controlling more of your own upstream traffic.
Get a second router, but don't connect it to the Internet, and you can have a private LAN too.

Yeah, and moshed to Ice-T's "Body Count", which was a complete unadvertised secret band.
I had never heard his hip hop before, and that set turned me into a hip hop fan. Prior to that, I had only heard mainstream rap, and hated all of it. When the banners on each side of the stage that said "Original" and "Gangster" flipped around to "Body" and "Count", and the guitars came out. I saw Ice-T break character, point up to the General Admission area, (the only portion without seats), and say "A pit!". I looked to my left, and on the opposite side, saw a cloud of dust that flowed over the seating section below us. I ran over, watching colors smear, as I was now about 3-4 hours into my trip, and joined into the circle that was basically falling down the slope, slamming into the hand rail, and climbing up the slope. LA mosh pits were amazing. Everyone in the circle watches out for one another. There were at least two times when people grabbed me, and picked me up, before I had realized I was falling off balance.
The Jane's Addiction stage looked like a yard sale, but parts of the items in the background would come to life, and interact with the band. Leave it to those guys to know that some of their fans would be tripping, and added antics like that to really make it surreal.
The other thing that really blew my mind was Siouxsie Sioux's energy. She was in her 40's, running and jumping all over the stage in a body suit the whole time she was singing. During the final song, she was spread-eagle, and bouncing about three feet off the stage, over and over, while letting out the final notes of that song. Her aura was intensely vibrant, and massive.

Black leather jackets were flying over-head like manta rays. A skinhead climbed to the top of the lefr ~20 foot tall speaker stack, dove off with his front side facing down. The crowd opened up, he landed on the concrete floor, and was carried out on a stretcher. For some reasonv nearly every woman there was well endowed, and Perry mentioned that on stage. The bands played their hearts out. The group of friends that I went with all had a blast, and we talked about it for days.
The first Lollapalooza at Irvine Meadows comes in as a close second, but that might be due to the LSD I took before it started.

Even if someone else prepared them and put them in my hand, the fruits/pears, that were ripe, the effort of swinging my hand to my mouth would have not been worth the effort. That is to say, any effort expended to eat these ripe fruits/pears, that were bland, were not worth it. They were tasteless. The fruits, that were ripe, had no flavor. It was a waste of time, to eat the fruits, that were ripe, because there was nothing to enjoy about them.

They sprouted last spring, but were in very shady, and high foot traffic, areas. As they mature, they'll be easier to ID.
I'm not sure why anyone would say they should only be transplanted in Fall. If you give them proper care, they could be transplanted at any time. If going in the ground, and you're in an area where the ground freezes, that's probably not a good time.

Off the top of my head, I thought of things like going to an "open to the public" mine. Digging and sifting through dirt to find gems is a popular enough video game. I find the real deal to be more enticing. I scored some opals and sunstones on such adventures.
Going to the Big Sandy Shoot, where you can shoot down drones with anti-aircraft, full-auto, machine guns would be a hoot.
Trail riding, either horses or ATVs/dirt bikes, would create some memories.
