I was questioning the question in general and my hard pass post was my statement on the topic. I didn't read all the comments on your OP, though it was IMO, a vague question. I didn't say you supported the idea, just that it was posed & asked to the "community" (personally, I wouldn't give anyone any ideas) and I really didn't and don't understand the point of asking. It's not a fall short thing, unless it's about splits. Otherwise, it's really a lack of interest in more apps for music for me personally. I'm also app avoidant; can't stand the clutter on my phone or PC, and I don't live on either of them, I live in the real world. This is my opinion, too many decentralized apps form more echo chambers. Maybe that's just a "for now thing," I really don't know, it's an echo chamber nonetheless. What is the one thing musicians desire? Exposure, plain and simple. That happens in numbers & there are v4v music shows that take the time to really curate tracks for each episode, atleast I do. Lastly, the drip-fed release of new music is counterproductive. Flood the fucking index with yours & other artists back catalogs. Put it all out there, not just on a Thursday. IMO, the question & answer depends on when one entered the "market." If one got in less than 6 months ago, yes. If one has been in for 4 years or more, no. My answer, no. Side note: stop listening to price predictions. No one has a magic 8 ball.
