Jack Mallers doesn't come across well at all in his What Bitcoin Did interview with Danni. I couldn't make it past the first 20 minutes.
Sure, I only listened for a short period, but one thing became pretty obvious, in that he doesn't seem willing to explain what the actual disagreement was between what the board wanted and what he wanted. And after listening, I still have no idea what 21 actually did, or does. Does anyone?
Somehow, without really explaining anything, he's constructing a narrative in which he's the heroic figure who acted with integrity, owned his mistakes, and walked away on principle. Yet he never seems to explain what exactly demonstrates that integrity.
He led his followers to the slaughter while taking millions in fiat and walking away.
For someone who constantly preaches about creating value, he sure managed to extract a lot of it.
He says he isn't a Wall Street guy, but he sure plays the part well.
