I joined it a few years ago, and not only were the owners/devs against nostr, but a large crowd of stackers also didn't want to be part of nostr. I talked a bit about it back then, but I think they're pretty parallel. Their platform is a centralized forum site, moderated, single interface etc, nostr is antithetical. Regardless they can coexist like any other app/site/forum, and people still choose to use it instead of nostr. They have a nostr login, I'm not sure how much more we'd want to integrate it before it just becomes nostr.

All of them could choose to be in both places, and they don't want to be.
