Monero and Zcash are designed differently.

Monero is designed in a way that coin supply can be audited by math. Now the question is if we can proof that our mathematical assumptions are correct we can prove that Monero supply did not get inflated.

All coins enter visibly through mining.

There's always a tail risk. In that case I'd hedge some with Bitcoin.
