Some narratives are meant to deflect and cast doubt on other narratives.
So the interesting part is how to differentiate one from the other.
I'd encourage people to not accept things at face value but to give probabilities. Then observing how these probabilities change over time as new (mis/dis)information becomes available.

There are different people at different times that cast doubts about events like 9/11 and most of us were forced to reevaluate the timeline.
Now what helps is thinking more in probabilities.
In 2001 I had 20% doubts about the 9/11 official narrative - that shifted to 99%
Regarding Covid epidemic I had 80% doubts in 2020 - that shifted to 95%
Moon landings I had 0% doubts at first and now ended up with 70% doubts.
I see overwhelming evidence for a globe model of earth. I like to entertain different models (e.g. simulation,...) but within my current perception I have only 1% doubts that the earth is not round.
Are there absolute truth. Yes, but from subjective interpretation everything is just a broken fractal of the bigger thing.
Be careful of those who want to sell you historic events as the truth.

Capability to reach the moon is also a question of probability/feasibility and I'd say it's close to 100% today taking everything we know into account. The probability to bring humans to the moon band back in the 1960s after all I've seen is 0,1% at best.

In the end it's just an event you weren't part of which means it happened on probability. The question then only becomes how likely did it happen for what motives.
Never forget the state only can exist if it makes you believe its propaganda. There is propaganda that is trying to make you proud (like space travel) and then there is propaganda to make you fear your neighbours or the terrorists or tax evasion or social exclusion.

Learn to interpret events in a symbolic way. They always want to tell you something. Don't take events at face value, most of the time there is symbolic or literal language involved.

All they fell for is Peter Todd's 2012 campaign, that BItcoin as is can NEVER scale. It got socially acceptable to fear more reaching potential limitations as MoE to reject any onchain growth now (10 years ago).
Stablecoins are a direct product of Bitcoin de-adoption, that started in early 2017.
