I've watched car chase videos where the people running do way worse shit than that mom could've ever done. A shot to the head is completely unjustifia...

There are many things that are wrong in this world. How we act as individuals in an unjust world is a different matter. It is wrong to beat somebody with a $5 wrench to steal their Bitcoin, but this will happen, so be careful about sharing the fact you have some. Likewise, stop immediately when asked to stop by police. Definitely don't drive towards an agent! WTF! There are few countries where I would expect not to risk getting shot in that situation (Off the top of my head, Sweden). Again, it doesn't make it right. It doesn't mean that there is an underlying system that needs to be changed (orphan crushing machine scenario). It just means that I need to think about my situation as an individual and act accordingly. So, it is relevant from the mom's perspective (and her children).
