A flashing display or something when there's a connection issue would also stand out better. A daily ping to my npub would be cool. Something to know things are working without me having to read the screen every day to make sure it's connected. And someone could fool me there by renaming their network to the same name my WiFi has. Everything would look fine. And they can find this data right in the open dashboard anyone can connect to when this happens. Absolutely absurd.
