But seriously, tinylfu and w-tinylfu are a strong cache technology, resistant to abuse and used in many places. vnlib_wtlfu is designed to be a very minimal shared/static library. It's going to be powering many things including vncache and maybe some book stuff in the near future. My target use case is edge cache right now.

Make a tiny generic, but sophisticated lru or add it to your tiered solution to avoid database contention. Bring your own allocator and thread safety. Should even work well on limited computing devices like micros or Pis. (Although it currently requires 32bit word size). The entire cache data structure can be stored in a few pages depending on the capacity, needing only 64 bytes per item.

vnlib_wtlfu is a standalone package but will be receiving vnlib mainline support, so it's not a one-off project with 25 commits. There may be higher level x86 targeted libraries in the future.
