I can't realy follow. I haven't had any chance to look deeper into nip17 stuff. It's on my To-Do list.

the private zap spec jb made was pre-nip17, but the concept is very similar. there is an encrypted event with whatever data you want to send, inside another event signed with an ephemeral key.. i modified them in RT to expose less data, but also, apparently what im doing is only compat with amethyst and not damus for some reason.
