No, doesn't have sleep tracking built-in -- However as I've discovered, this isn't really a HW but rather a SW limitation, so there's no reason it couldn't be done on the client-side app rather than the watch itself.
Overall: I think the hardware seems pretty rugged especially for a $40 product. Haven't tested the waterproofing yet but next time I swim I'll try.
The SW is still in that place of "mostly working but rough around the edges" UX like a lot of early-stage open-source projects (of which you should be familiar haha).
On-board OS that it ships with is InifiniTime, which works well enough but could use more polish / features. On my phone I use GadgetBridge, same thing applies there. "Activity detection" on the latter isn't working that great, and I've submitted issues w/r/t that.

I still believe that most good and worthwhile things start "on the street" as it were, or even "in the gutter" -- i.e. at the margins of society. But Saylor is part of the process to bring them into the mainstream, which is ultimately where they need to be.

The other side of the "coin" is that it would enhance living standards, as savings become more valuable. People are still going to spend on consumption goods, charity, etc...

Personally, I think AGI remains a "mythical" concept relative to the current state and development pathway of AI -- I'm generally with Cory Doctorow on this point that expecting the current incarnations of LLM chatbots to somehow "become" AGI overnight is about as rational as expecting that by breeding better horses we'll get a steam locomotive.
But skipping that issue: What exactly is AGI, and what moral obligations will we have to it and it to itself?
It's not clear to me that AGI will have any essential drive towards self-preservation, individual autonomy, or really any "needs" or "desires" at all, outside of whatever its human programmed it to have.
It might be "intelligent" by whatever metric, but why does it get out of bed in the first place?

We should lean into Zaps, because we're taking this behavior but supercharging it by (a) making it possible to send sub $1 amounts that legacy platforms can't and (b) allowing anyone on planet Earth to participate in a permissionless way. These two factors are HUGE.
there are a MILLION other options if you don't want public zaps. Just put out a lightning address and someone can send it directly. put out your BTC address, plenty of people still do that. Recurring subscription payments via Patreon-like functions, I'm sure somebody is working on that.

The Litany Against Fear is one of many Bene Gesserit practice designed to subsume and quell emotions. Keep in mind, the Bene Gesserits, like the Jedis, are supposed to be emotionless warriors. No fear, but no love, no family ties, etc. Their role, like Paul Atreides' in the saga of Dune is not necessarily to be "the good guys."
I keep going back to it, but the Green Lantern Corps is a similar thing -- the Green lantern power rings, dispatched from the "center of the universe" of Oa, seek out beings who can resist great fear and recruit them into the Gaurdians of the Universe.
However, because they reject all other emotions -- fear, anger, greed, but also compassion and love -- they basically turn into something that aspires not just to be a "police force", but the One Galactic Government.

The thing that's keeping you from walking up to a cop and punching them in the face, or dancing on the edge of a cliff -- that thing is "fear." Sure it needs to be tempered with rationality, but as human beings we've evolved certain fear responses in sitiuations that are important for our survival.
And like anger, greed, and all the other "negative" emotions -- it's good in *small* doses, but must be carefully managed to ensure that it doesn't dominate your life.

I see the same thing with the shift from suburban living to urbanism over the past ~20 years or so. Back in the 90's, urban downtowns were places you (maybe) visited in the Daylight hours to work, then quickly fled back to the suburbs at 5 pm. It's taken generational change, and there are still ongoing fights with NIMBYism, but millennials and younger generations have started to see the benefits of dense urban living.
Likewise, we're at a point in history where the internet has basically been "colonized" by The Platforms. Hopefully we don't need a "generational" timescale to change things, but it's going to be a gradual process....
